Participation in the project "Grand Mosque", U.A.E.
Geberit International Sales AG wins in the project of the Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi which is able to accommodate over 30,000 worshippers. The mosque is be the sixth largest in the world and is structured with four 115 m high minarets, 70 m high Main Dome internal courtyards, auxiliary buildings and facilities, parking areas, access roads, green areas including Islamic-style gardens and a lot more.
Acquisition of new Sales Company in South Africa
The longterm business partner of Geberit in South Africa, Associate Material Supplies (Pty.) Ltd. can be acquired and is part of the Group of Geberit International Sales AG from now on.
Opening of a new Branch Office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Geberit International Sales AG opens a new office in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Participation in the Prestige Object "Aspire Tower", Qatar
Geberit International Sales AG wins in the project of the Aspire Tower, a 318 metre structure which is located in the Sports City complex in Doha, Qatar. The tower was designed by the architect Hadi Simaan and served as the focal point for the 15th Asian Games hosted by Qatar in December, 2006.
