The Mapress CuNiFe pressfitting system was developed for pipes carrying seawater in shipbuilding and other marine applications.
It combines the advantages of the familiar Mapress system Stainless Steel with the high sea water corrosion resistance. Geberit Mapress CuNiFe is suitable for both sea water and fresh water.
Along with other Mapress materials CuNiFe now benefits from the new press indicator.
The CuNiFe fittings are supplied with a black pressing indicator (O-ring seal) enabling to immediately distinguish them from the stainless steel or carbon fittings. Furthermore, this indicator makes it easy to visibly realize pressed and unpressed joints
